Govt. 5 million housing scheme cancelled?

So my houseworker and her husband had applied for 50 lakh housing scheme announced by the government. They paid for registration around Rs350.
Now today she tells me that the scheme has been cancelled?
Can someone confirm this?

watch out , govt already warn that some of people collecting money on this scheme behalf.

i think if it is cancelled it is good decision by govt as our economy is in no position to carryout non profitable schemes currently

Unless they paid someone privately other than NADRA office, I don't think the scheme is cancelled its very much there some of the banks have already agreed to finance the project, modalities for reimbursement of the differential have been discussed with SBP, so nothing is happening.

Neither cancelled nor fast pace, consider it another BRT Peshawar.
