A biryani festival will be held at the Governor House in Karachi every year.

This was announced by Governor Imran Ismail on Thursday. He was visiting the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan office.

The Sindh governor said the government will invite everyone from the meat suppliers to masala walas, he said, adding that biryani should be rich in spices.

The association’s chairperson said Pakistan is currently exporting rice worth $2 billion, but this could be taken to $4 billion with government support.

No its lucknowi or Hyderabadi.

No it was brought by the Muslim conquerors. The same can be said for most of so-called "Indian" culture.

Architecture? A lot of it comes from Muslims (e.g the Taj Mahal).

Language? Hindi comes from Hindustani, and do you know how that language came about?

Food? We've already discussed biryani, but don't forget all the other Mughlai dishes that are popular, e.g qeema.

. . . . . . .
Why? It’s a personal choice.
Eating meat or not eating meat.
If you don’t eat meat, you can have egg biryani.

will that be in this Festival being held in a province under famine?
