I find it laughable how this is portrayed as somehow inspired by religion. All it shows is one human being coming to the aid of another human being who is under attack by someone wielding a sword. Courage, selflessness, kindness, generosity etc are human qualities not things that are inherent to any particular religion or racial/ethnic group.
