Good News PAF engineers have repaired destroyed AWAC

Senate committee for defence has been told that Pakistani experts have managed to fully recover and repair AWAC which was destroyed in terrorist attack.

It was damaged in attack not destroyed

As annoying, painful, infuriating such a attack was it actually shone a light on some of our piss poor security measures when protecting national assets

Same with some of the other attacks

If these events help us improve our security then better these attacks highlight our short comings now then in the midst of a major war with india

Security if not perfect is now much better than before

Plz refer to attacks after this incident on Peshawar airport and Air Base plus on Khalid Aviation Base and Samungli Air Base and how they were foiled and not to forget the attempted hijacking of Navy ship and how Navy responded. They deserve a lil more appreciation if lessons are learnt.

AS per the report, Manufacturer quoted a price of 30 million dollar to repair damaged AWAC. Pakistani Engineers repaired the damaged item in 15 million dollars and AWAC has been ope-rationalized

No mention of what will happen to the second damaged AWAC.

Well if they have rebuild destroyed one they obviously would have repaired damaged one long ago

They repaired the one which had nose cone damaged.

Repaired for 15 million dollars whereas the OEM demanded 300 million dollars n for the info of audience it was badly damaged (FOR THose WHO ARE CREATING DOUBT THAT NOSE CONE WAS ONLY DAMAGED)

That is a commendable achievement, with the regret that it was needed in the first place.
