I will wait till deal is signed ...and I wonder now how France is gonna react to this ...we have good relations with them in terms of defense we shouldn't jeopardize that ...

If agreement signed in say Nov. 2009 PN should get first sub by 2013-14. But that is a guesstimate.

lets hope PN gets 1 ready made u-boat by the germans. 64 months is just too much of time for PN.. we know that their is one prefectly functioning greek Papanikolis u-boat sitting in german docks because greek could no longer afford the deal.. lets say if pakistan signs this contract next month or so then we will have first type-214 by the end of next year. and guess what.. turks will be very happy.

French are ******... they will rip you off, supply their weapons and care less about you.. Germans can offer alot more better stuff..

two great news for me today... my nephew got born today and i have become a chacha... and now this lovely news about u-boats being finalized for PN by our government. next step will be for the contract.

congratulations brother on such great news,,
both the sub and the birth of your nephew, beleive me if the Sub really goes on smoothly the day will be celebrated as a new birthday for PN aswell!!

from last one year we are finilizing deal it is waste of time why pn sit and sign enough talk have been done on U 214 but still we have to wait for next few years to sign and sfter sign we have to wait another 32 months to get them sahre waste of time and remember india is also trying its best to stop pakistan gettting U 214 and our navy giving them more time to provoke germans to stop sell

and i have some question do U 214 survive onslought from P 8 or can U214 have capability to destroy aircraft from underwater missiles
