Tarek Fatah is 68 and in the worst case will probably die by 70, which is the average life expectancy in most nations. In Pakistan, average life expectancy is 66 years, so he is already above the curve. I would say he is very lucky to have lived a normal lifespan. Tens of thousands of people die prematurely in their before the age of ten or in their teens or in their 20s everyday due to different reasons. Even if I live to half of Tareq Fatah's age, I will consider myself lucky. Life is full of surprises and very less is in your control. Today you are here laughing at this dying man, tomorrow who knows, fate might have something in store for you.

Man for sure Allah is responsible for each and everything as he is almighty ... He is and was almighty when jesus (PBU) was being prosecuted by Jews and Romans (same is written in Quran) ... He was behind the early struggles of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) ... Read Quran and you will find that there was time when our beloved was tortured to a level where his slippers got filled with blood ...

So as per Islam this whole world and its mechanism is a test and based on this test our after life will be decided ...

Most of us are muslims by name only and are not following teaching of the Islams and hence the wrath of Allah is upon us ...

Anyways, Allah has tested his best people with similar tough conditions ,,, there are numerous examples in which prophets of Allah were put to extreme tough condition as this is a test and real reward is in the afterward ...
