Thank you PTI...Aty e 9 months ma load shedding ka khatama..
Jut like the economy hasn't been ruined in 9 months by the PTI, the PTI isn't responsible for the surplus power generation either. Most of the projects were initiated in the years past.

The main issues now, like VCheng mentioned, are resolving the circular debt and reducing transmission losses. In terms of additional power generation, the focus needs to shift to hydro-power, especially projects that help with water storage.

The last house I had in the US was in a very nice, old neighborhood, where the distribution system was still above ground unlike then newer neighborhoods where it's underground.

The electricity wires swung down and connected to the exterior wall on the first floor. I could touch them by standing on a chair next to the wall, and it was the same case with every house in the neighborhood. No one thought about stealing the electricity.

The location of the wires isn't as important as is civic awareness and deterrence through enforcement and fines.

It's the same thing as taxes - if Pakistanis don't pay their taxes and steal electricity then why complain when the government has to raise prices, go to the IMF and implement austerity measures that slow down the economy and cause inflation?

The problem is not the power production but transmission. The previous govt invested a lot in very expensive and anti-environment fossil fuel based power production due to the huge kickbacks and corruption but they did not invest a single penny in the power transmission. So infact now we have more production but the grid cannot handle it so a lot of power goes wasted and thus there will still be load-shedding unfortunately but the current govt is investing in the grid so soon it will be over but still not yet.
Our job is to encourage constructive discussions. Trolling and pointless posts are not conducive to that so will be deleted.
Good. He is a troll and 99.9% of his posts are pointless

So you’re saying that you want to wait for official numbers from the relevant institution before commenting on power generation and the issues related to power generation and transmission.

Fair enough.
