'God particle' announcement expected

Does that mean Boson Particle has immensely high density? (this question might sound pretty noob)

When their theories are found correct by experimentation. The theorist and experimenter gets the prize. Noble prize is not given posthumously.

If you have observed the trend, only those theories and experiments which have practical applications in our daily lives merited a Nobel prize. Consider the Nobel Prize which Einstein won - for his work on photoelectric effect and not E=MC^2. No wonder, unfortunately Stephen Hawking wont get a Nobel Prize.

So am i, so no shame in random chit-chats between two noobs. :D

See, in layman's term, electrons give charge to particles, but they do have mass. so just by that flow of that, i was wondering about the mass/density of Higgs-Boson particle. Now as they give mass to other fundamental particles without affecting volume, so by my logic, they must have immense density.

P.S: I'm talking in atomic scale, electrons does affect the volume of an atom.

IMHO, arent you confusing mass and density? Mass is a fundamental property while density= m/v, no?

Yes, anything which has mass should also occupy some volume. Isn't it?

If they are referring to Anti-matter than every one knows about it, because in Angels and Demons it was the Anti-matter particle . Which scientists have already created other than that I'm not sure.

They do have volume, but too small to taken into account, and not significant enough to influence any numerical or experimental outcome. But they do have volume. You must have heard that electron density in an electron cloud is always a positive function, now without volume, how can it be?

Of course! I simply wanted to point out that Einstein won the Nobel Prize for his law of photoelectric effect and not E=MC^2.
Coz he already got one already. E=mc^2 is found in everything, semi conductor and devices are based on it and we are communicating via computers/cables etc.
