Enforce Tac 2019: GLOCK displays its new slim G48 and G43X

07 MARCH 2019

During Enforce Tac 2019, GLOCK showcases its new Slimline Silver slide, including the new subcompact slim G43X and the compact slim G48.

Both new compact slim GLOCK pistols have a high capacity with 10 9mm rounds magazine slim 01, an enhanced polygonal barrel profile, silver coloured nPVD slide with front serrations, a Safe Action system, an enhanced barrel profile, a frame design with built-in beaver tail, smoother trigger pull, a loaded chamber indicator and a reversible magazine catch (ambidextrous).

The G48 is a thinner version of the G19, creating a prefect fit for a wide variety of hand sizes. The G43X is a crossover of the G48 and the G43 and features a slim design with high magazine capacity.

It’s important to note that previous single stacked 9mm mags used in the G43 do not fit in the new G48 and G43x. These new pistols have identical full-size grips, though the G48 has a slightly longer barrel then the G43x. Although Glocks are already popular among CCW owners, the powerhouse gunmaker wanted to up the ante.

what awesome timing, i just decided to get a G43 last week but the only issue i saw was the 6 round mag. a 10 round mag is pretty solid for Concealed Carry! plus the night sight makes it a win win

Guys, sigs p365 has most of their problems resolved and its still the best in terms of combination of size and capacity and ergo. It has been my carry gun of choice.

Check out the HK VP9SK, comes with night sights, 10 round + 1, mags also available with a pinky extension so you can get a full grip, subcompact size and good for concealed carry. I recently bought it and love it.

I actually tried it. I like that one too! But p365 get all three of my fingers easily on it and recoil don't seem to be bad either considering it is sub compact. I love the germans guns I shoot close to bullseye with my walther ppq as well up to 25 to 30 yards. Planning to try my p365 in the IDPA to see how it performs.

I'll check it out next time i'm on the range, but ive been a fan of glock always. theres something abt the simplicty, it cries out reliability.

If you get the gen 3 (late 2018). Most of the issues are fixed. You may still see a slight drag in the firing pin, but as long as it is consistent it is not a problem. You need to get through the breaking in period (500 rounds or so you may see a failure to fall into battery during that time. I haven't though). But the gun for its size is super accurate. Glocks are reliable you are right. g26 is another good option. What sold me on p365 is its size and ergo considering its size.

p365 is small enough that you can pocket carry if you wear loose jeans and all.
