Regretably this kind of balanced view is not the mainstream of the west, but it will surely and gradually be as our progress to a high level of civilization.Let the ideology disputes go to hell!

To the US, those terrorists are just some rabid dogs, and they know they are no real threat.

To them, China and Russia are the real challengers to their hegemony, therefore they would rather see their competitors all being destroyed.

There is never any excuse for terrorist attacks against innocent civilians. Doesn't matter what country.

The world should be united on this, when innocent Chinese and French and Russian people die from terrorist attacks, we should all feel sympathy as decent human beings.

Always. There are are terror apologists globally who will constantly condemn us all because we werent sensitive enough, or we didnt assimilate them enough or we offended their sensibilities enough. There are a dime a dozen on this forum itself who have partially or fully blamed the french victims!

Yes, of course.But the very key is to show to the west and the world that socialism can lead to prosperity and civilization.Average people just worship the best.And to be honest how comunism had been implemented in the last century looks very bad and had harmed its reputation.
Although we may know what leads to the west's prosperity is not the system they have currently and what China adopts nowadays is indeed kind of pragmatism, people of the rest of the world don't care about that.

There are always going to be groups who will be against , no matter what the situation, even if one is the victim. The BBC is known for its biased journalism that always tries to pick fun at the social "disgraces" of any nation , be it in Japan, be it in China, be it in India, but when it comes to British interests -- its a no no.

That's why i rarely ever read anything from BBC. For anything international related, i prefer cnn, cctv, ap, reuters or wsj.

I'm not blaming any specific media company, rather it's the general mindset that I'm against.

Hopefully the world is becoming more united on the threat of terrorism and extremism, especially in recent days. Maybe if we all cooperate more, we can sort out this problem within this generation at least.

though i deeply sympathize with the French people, i must say i was appalled by the comment sections of these news in western media. they are attacking Islam in a fierce way. you can never win if you list the entire Islamic world as your enemy.
this rising narrative of Christianity vs. Islam is very disturbing. guess the clash of civilization is never that far away.

My point as an Indian... I see no support from china or chinese posters when terrorist attacks happen in India...infact they mock us then why should we support them with Uyghur issue even when we understand the issue. See the reaction when there is some terrorist attack in India in future. World can be united against terrorism only if we empathize with each other. Its fine to question the west bit would be far better to look within. What have you done/said when terrorist attacks happened in other countries..at best kept quiet.
