Giving Gawadar to China not a good decision. PMLN Chief

i think so they hold the control of Gawadar port but utilizing the man power form inside country..:azn:
Due to lack of technical and Administration assistance the gov decide this other wise they do not act like this...

Hidden behind the propaganda is the reality that the arrogant Sindhi/Punjabi lords have once again screwed the locals.

The local Baluchi have received zip-all from all this 'development'. Most of the land was bought cheaply from them by Sindhi/Punjabi shysters who then made fortunes reselling it. Most of the lucrative contracts went to -- you guessed it -- Sindhi and Punjabi firms. About the only thing the Baluchis can expect out of this whole operation is a few lowest paying laborer jobs.

The top-down arrogance of the Punjabi/Sindhi elite and the utter disregard for other Pakistanis continues unabated. These arrogant fools think they can keep repeating the mistakes of history while avoiding the lessons learnt the hard way.

The way this thing has been handled will fuel the separatist movement 100 fold.

agree, not against Chinese involvement in the running of the port but atleast we should have consulted them. How can they feel confident when we dont discuss matter of such importance with them. And then we have nationalist who will exploit this :(

They are happy??? wow like they are happy with Sui Gas

as per my information The statement ( which resulted in 8 page discussion which is mostly crap ) was given by Talal Bugti. NS didnt even discussed the matter with usa ambassador or gave any statement.

Yeah, Talal Bugti came to Raiwind for discussion.. Now when did that happen? Come on, we all know with whome Talal is trying to talk. And that is not PML-N

Let us get a few things straight: Pakistan has not "given" Gwadar to China. Gwadar is not a naval base for China. There are no road, rail or pipeline links that utilize Gawadar's capacity properly.

Gawadar was managed by a Singaporean Company on a 40 year lease, and was forced to break it due to non-fulfillment of certain conditions by the Pakistani government. Now that management lease has been awarded to a Chinese company. That is all.

All this hoopla in trying to make this change anything more is totally wrong and unjustified.

Did Pakistan owe any financial sum to singaporean company for breach of contract?
Is Singaporean Co asking for damages?
