Muslims are actually more ethnocentric and racist that other religious group in general. Muslims only put hue and cry when Muslims are persecuted by other religious groups, but they are not willing to help Muslims in distress by inviting them in their own countries. It may sound strange, but I will give you one example, Chinese are one quarter of population in Malaysia and they dominate the economy, Indians are 7 percent of population and dominant in certain professions like Doctors, Lawyers, managers etc. But majority ethnic Malay racism and xenophobia is much less directed against them, most are reserved for poor Bangladeshi migrant workers and Rohingya Refugees. They even coined a word ''Banglasia'', the supposed takeover of Malaysia by Bangladeshi labor migrants in near future. Now you would assume, Bangladeshi labor migrants top the chart, but this is not the case, Bangladeshi labor force comes 2nd or 3rd after Indonesia and Nepal. Only a few Bangladeshi will ever get Malaysian citizenship and they work in exploitative and harsh condition for minimal salary and at least 99 percent will have to return to Bangladesh anyway. Few years ago, there was an agreement between Bangladesh and Malaysia to supply 1.5 million Bangladeshi workers, but it generated a huge backlash in Malaysia that Malaysian govt. scrapped the deal. Malay gained this much hatred and xenophobia against Bangladeshis. Do you know why? Mostly because Bangladeshi male migrant workers are apparently popular among Malay women for date and marriage, and Malay men are disgusted by it. Another reason is, some Bangladeshi migrants are opening business in Malaysia.

Same is also true with Indonesia. Some Bangladeshi men dating and marrying Indonesian migrant women in Malaysia and Singapore seems to be a huge issue considering how much this issue get highlighted, abhored and disgusted by indonesians in social media. Bangladeshi people in Bangladesh are totally ignorant about these things. There are many racist stereotype about Bangladesh and it's people in Malaysia and Indonesia. This is just one example of the level of hatred, xenophobia and racism with fellow Muslims by other Muslims regularly exibit. You guys are wrong in assuming that Muslims are united in one Ummah(Sic.)
