They wanted 10 lakh to go on a death mission in to India like the Mumbai attacks even though they knew they wouldn't get out alive but they still wanted the money? And if they really were going to attack India then they could have allowed the coast guards to get closer before exploding. I don't know, I don't usually believe in conspiracy theories, but Indian government either needs to release more info or try and construct it in a way that it doesn't make the whole exercise look suspicious.
