Ghazni also falls to the Taliban

. . . .
Look how the people are welcoming him in the capital of Maidan Wardak.

Their probably relieved that there is a chance they maybe spared from air strikes. A lot of people interviewed, when asked about the fighting didn’t say they were specifically fearful of either side but of being caught in the middle during a fight.
Have any of the ANSDF Commandos ever surrendered in this weeks battles, anywhere in the country?

Look at that video of the Taliban in the palace, most of those people don't even know how to sit on those chairs. They look awkward. Meanwhile the rag tag pathetic excuse of a fighting force called the ANA as been funded to the tune of $100 billion. where did it all go? Into palaces like these.

The Northern Alliance warlords had an opportunity to re-build Afghanistan, they just looted it instead. It's no surprise poor Afghans are cheering on the Taliban.

They look like they have no worries, you can tell that they're on a mission that they believe is greater than themselves. Not even fighting for the chairs, happy to sit on the ground, with gratitude.

ANA won't be able to stop these people. Morale and mental attitude goes a long way in deciding the outcome of a war.

I believe we can rest the case where the Billions went. While people were dying of hunger and as you pointed out leaders living it out.

Now compare it with what the crusaders and their allies did to war prisoners in the early hours of the afghan invasion

What makes the Taliban religious fanatics also makes them follow other teachings of Islam: Forgiveness when possible. They not only have a code of revenge but also a code of honor. I remember after 9/11 when Americans were starting to support the Northern Alliance one of the few US Senators who objected to that said something like 'at least the Talibans have honor! The Northern Alliance are just thugs'.

The fleeing refugees are not necessarily running for social 'freedoms'. But just to survive and some have given accounts of the Afghan airforce bombing civilian areas recklessly just to kill a few Talibans. Those refugees couldn't care less who wins!

Very poor muzzle discipline, but who needs that when your taking out cities like flies.
Buddy these guys know their guns better than you and I can ever hope to. Probably the first toy they played with was a gun.
