Ghaznavi Masjid is the ruins of an old Masjid in Swat, KPK that was built in the 11th century during (as the name would suggest) the time of the Ghaznavid Empire. This makes it the 2nd oldest Masjid ever discovered in Pakistan (the Jamia Masjid of Thatta predates it), and the oldest discovered Masjid in KPK.
An inscription on the ruins of the Masjid attests to it's 11th century origin, and that it was built by a Ghaznavid general going by the name of Amir Nustagin. The evidence also suggests that it was built over the ruins of a Buddhist stupa, which was probably destroyed by the Ghaznavids prior to the Masjid's creation.
