I respectfully disagree....It is not going to consume all your resources and is certainly not the end of world...neither a single project can changes the fortune of a country....it is always muti-dimensional effort....regarding attention to CPEC then plz tell who is talking about it more than Pakistan herself?? Anyways your country your rules...It a big project and it demands all that attention and concentration.Pakistan duly needs to go all out on this.
The stakes of more than one country are involved here. And especially the landlocked countries can benefit out of it.
First, it's very certain that it's going to be a success. And second is it being fruitful will prove that all that attention and concentration was justified.
The 'tit for tat' is in fact the Pakistani closure of the border in response to provocations from the Afghan side, such as unprovoked firing from Afghan security forces and violent demonstrations that damage Pakistani infrastructure and harm Pakistani civilians and security forces.it's a tit for tat, no hard feelings
Article here, excerpts below:
...
The Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has warned to close transit route for Pakistan to Central Asian countries as the Wagah port has been closed for the Afghan traders for import and export.
President Ghani made the remarks during a meeting with the UK’s special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Owen Jenkins in Kabul.
He said Afghanistan is no more a landlocked country as several other options and transit routes are available for Afghanistan for the import and export of commodities of the Afghan traders.
President Ghani further added that Pakistan usually closes transit routes during the fruits season which incurs millions in dollars loses to the Afghan traders.
Make sense, not sure how economically viable it will be though.
So in short you and I will continue to block traffic for each and other use other routes to do business.
I think Pakistan is already sending those Afghans back which is a good thing I would say.
Let us forget about ISAF as it no longer exist, I wonder how you respond being an American ( your ally Afghanistan) who is being imposed a war through foreign proxies, the same proxies that have killed American soldiers.
Where are your loyalties?

depending upon china for everything ...Nice one...Mr. Ghani....Many Pakistanis also didn't want in first place that you become our trade route for CARs....Pakistanis will never want to become dependent on India and Afghanistan for anything ....
of-course....no doubt about it...where did i deny that part....All out is in terms of the effort. No all the resources actually. It doesn't need them either. It's meant to build us gradually and not exhaust us.I'm glad that the GoP so far has shown the full commitment in this regard.
Regarding the question, it's the country which is investing on it and the country where it's bringing in it's revolution. One must know that it's a budding process in it's initial stages. The more the people (countries) get associated with it the more they "talk" about it.It's simple. One sees an opportunity to gain some advantage out of it then, i don't understand why will one not bother to join it.
honestly all eggs in one basket is not a good thing....
well then good for you...best of luck...Such posts give me a real comfort that Pakistan is ON RIGHT DIRECTION!
