We should question if the "millions" story is actual. And if actual then it is sad. But how will you explain the genocide in Indonesia in 1965-66 where perhaps two million communists and suspected sympathizers were murdered ? Does that not prick your conscience ? What about the invasions on the socialist countries of Libya and Syria ? NATO and its transnational criminal groups did acts of utter depravity including eating cats and hearts of humans ?

I will not ask you to add all. Just do the math for below:

- People killed and sent to Gulag by Stalin
- People killed during Mao’s radical communism days
- People killed by Khmer Rouge

Just add these 3. I won’t even ask you do go beyond. It will dwarf everything except maybe Mongols (proportionally) and plague. Again maybe and I am not adding the rest of death and destruction, just 3.

By the way. Not just China, now Vietnam (the poster boy of communist victory) is also turning into something else

Sadly, I think the Taliban is going to rule, either by forming an exclusive government like in the 1990s or by being a major element in the current government. NATO is leaving the country knowing this fully.

Let's see what actually unfolds. But yes for now Taliban seems to have an edge.

Well, when the USSR came into Afghanistan the country was already being governed by socialism. The country was called Democratic Republic of Afghanistan.

Agreed. In the 1980s, Afghanistan under socialist governance sent a cosmonaut - Abdul Ahad Mohmand - to the Soviet space station Mir. He even won the Hero of the Soviet Union award for putting out a fire in the space station. The women of the country, at least in the cities, were free too.

Within a decade, a country starts becoming unrecognizable. Sadly, they've been used as puppets by different powers in the region but it's also a lot to do with their culture which isn't well suited to the modern world. They also lack reformists within them.

True Communism is supposed to bring True Democracy through one of its aims where the State dissolves and the people begin ruling themselves, without any party or the Western-style parliament.

Yet it existed in Libya for decades and is in effect in Venezuela despite Western governments trying to effect regime change ( you can read the detailed interview of the Venezuelan woman activist linked in my previous post ).
