Piece of advice @atya , Marriage is not a small thing, it’s a bond of 2 physical beings but they are one soul. Keep my advice as practical whenever you face your husband in future. You are a lady, Allah had made a man and a lady different in terms of mental mechanics.
Ladies, more emotional, lack of decision-making patience, blame-game masters, pressurise husband, at the same time, lady is the best tool for meditation, to convince, and manipulate.

Man, on the other hand, wiser, less emotional, patient while making decisions, but short tempered when angry and patient when he is trying to bear someone’s repeated arguments.

In future, this will be a new experience, having a man in life, ups and downs happen between the souls.
Points where ladies need to focus :
Be gentle, try to understand that a man has to face different pressures outside whole day then to come home and find out mom and wife disputes which to him are petty and meaningless. Try to make up with your in laws, it will keep him happy, if they are mean, try to ignore for some time but if out of hand, definitely involve your husband but persuasively in a nice and seeuctive manner.

Sometimes, you might find him, angry/anxious or desperate, try to approach him as a friend, keep your advices to yourself unless he seems more towards you in the moment.

Try to understand his income and expenses, plan accordingly, your wishes, everyone has wishes, but what matters if you can fulfill them or not.

If you find me mean, i am not. Neither am i emphasizing on any gender. Just advices and tips for you. You can always discuss your problems here if you face any...
