You know most of the Muslims living in USA are educated. They know how to keep the environment clean. They know the importance of capital city of a country. I respect all these Christens, but they are illiterate. And there's nothing wrong with providing them shelter out of capital city.

Firstly it is not true of most muslims in the U.S being educated, and certainly not true of Pakistani Americans if one looks at the contribution made to the U.S GDP, and their socio economic status compared among the various immigrant groups i.e. you ain't doing that well as a group- compared to our other immigrants.

But setting that aside, your racist statement above should be met with - "Perhaps we in the U.S should treat you muslims the same way because you are not the most contributing members of our society, just like you call those christians in Pakistan?"

Islamabad is closed city for bureaucrats and diplomats. Most of the government employees live in nearby Rawalpindi and commute daily. There are free bus services for the government employees. These sanitation workers can live in Rawalpindi and take the 15-30 minutes free bus to Islamabad. Even in the USA many government employees in Washington, DC live in Arlington, Virginia across the Potomac River. All encroachments on public and private lands in Islamabad must be removed.

The trees have been cut down mercilessly as well......both by the people and by CDA...
CDA must start a 'shajar kari' movement in Islamabad to restore it's greenery and reduce the pollution.
The current widening of expressway etc will be achieved at the cost of thousands of trees.

CDA is going to be dissolved, its just matter of time and like any other government body it has proved to be useless, corrupt organisation. It has failed in each department sanitation to development.

Plus the way roads have been built in Islamabad, the planning and execution has disturbed the whole city. Anyways Islamabad is gone, Nations built the totally destroyed cities and made them model cities and Pakistanis destroyed one planned city and made it resemble slum. We are good at it.

It's better than before....the flyovers and metro look cool.....It is not even close to a devastated city. How did you come to that conclusion? Just because of a few slums?
