I wonder if there's a 'pivot' opportunity where we use the credit facility for T129s for 3 Type 214s via Turkey, and then use the credit facility for the Hangor SSP program for J-10CEs, Z-10MEs and/or VT4s?

(PS: yes, the fact that we're talking about moving debt around for purchases is distressing).

This issue might explain the apparent interest in this:

This seems like for shallow water subs.

Possibly could be but I don’t see the immediate need for it. Really believe the Indians are on a self fellatio(keep using that term but any less pithy for Bhakts these days doesn’t qualify) spree with all sorts of fake news.

.
No it won't for a myriad of reasons. They are neutral.

If correct then that's terrible news.
Pakistan would simply have to buy from Germany direct, and bring back the old 214 deal. It was abandoned years back due to funding.
Or they probably we opt for alternative engines

Think there's at least two issues with the above idea:

- This whittles down the quantity of potential new subs from 8 to 3, perhaps the 214s are of a higher quality than their Chinese counterparts, however the force multiplier effect of PN subs in subduing the much larger IN is perhaps of most importance as it gives much required breathing rooms for other aspects of naval capability to improve over time. Makes sense to have more than less.

- Doesn't each service arm have separate budget allocations? So other procurements likely have budgets already allocated to make yearly payments for.

Wether the news is true or not we dont know

What we know is india is all in...and previously these tactics have worked

Second its possible germans wants us to come back to u boat since india is likely to select french designs

It’s bullshit just found out.
The old Song class used the German MTU 16V396SE84 engines, three in total.

Pakistan’s submarines are the Yuan class which use Chinese Diesel engines and the AIP is developed by the 711th Research Institute.

The engine is built by Shanghai Qiyao Propulsion Technology Ltd.

Don’t the fake news folks have something better to do? Like digging up bogus orgies Greta is involved in?

.
This is like T-129 helicopter deal Pakistan signed with Turkey, only to find out that US won’t approve the engine, hence delaying delivery.

I think a contract is a contract: it should be honored by all parties.

you have to give credit to extensive indian lobbying

indian lobbying, sending armed militants from Afghanistan to bombs schools and kill children and creating fake news cooperation for disinfo is working

I wouldn't be surprised if this news turns out to be true. There is a certain bloc of countries in the Western world that is towing US line. Germany isn't necessarily anti-China, but it has refused the sale of submarines before to Pakistan. Back then Israel was the party that threw the spanner in the works.

It is also no secret that the Americans, Indians and their cronies are terrified by the prospect of Pakistan getting their hands on submarines that would be fitted with SLCM/SLBM. That is no secret. The amount of vitriol we have read in the past speaks volume. If we take all factors into account I think the news may have some substance.

Not in a million years. The West is not going to provide Pakistan any offensive weapons. That policy is clear as daylight. Pakistan should get one thing very clear. Its honeymoon period with the West is over. India is their darling. The amount of BS that the West is willing to go through in order to appease and cover Hindustan is no secret to anyone. As long as papa America and particularly Israel is in bed with India the Europeans won't dare challange India.

Already we can see how France and other European nations are arming India to teeth. That is not a coincidence. This is by design and the intent is very clear. It is meant to hurt both China and Pakistan.
