Mate, you talk like as if US foughts your wars.... being a NATO member is good... additional security and stuff.. but isn't it much better when you can rely on your army when shit hits the fan.....

No it is not.

The difference is that we think in different perspectives. You think about nationstates. I think in the "western club". Nation states are worthless and a thing of the past. Why should i want a more powerful army for germany? Wh not for bavaria then or any small german state? We live in the 21st century. NATO fights our wars. I´m for the disposal of nation states completly and one government. The EU is good in that aspect. I´m not a nationalistic little farm boy.

What is my nation? Germany or Italy? That shows why i don´t agree with you in this. For me the EU is my nation state. I see the entire EU as my home.

I´m too smart to be a soldier. I let others fight for me. I would never go in any army. I would not give one drop of blood for germany nor would i for greece or romanian. Do you honestly believe that i´m that typoe of guy who would lay in the dirt and follows orders?

Yes you will have to when conscripts are needed, nowadays in Western Europe too many people are getting higher education, if everyone thinks he's too smart there won't even be enough ground troops anymore.

Wars are things far away. And its done in few weeks. When i was a small boy we had the war against Serbia. My dad was a technician in the Luftwaffe. And he was back home after just 4 weeks and saw nothing. We have the technology to hit evryone. On same time our enemies don´t have the ability to hurt us.

So try to see this from my point of view.

Turkey is doing fine without joining European Union in next 5 Years it won't even need too The Economy is getting stronger and independent. What is Germany getting being in European union and NATO, from economic perspective it is Germany that is bailing out every other European nation rest like france and uk are sitting like idiots.

NATO is pointless almost all European Nations are at peace the fear from Russia is nothing but a nightmare implanted by US. with over 7000 Nukes what does it matter to russia; any adventurism by NATO would wreck havoc upon Europe it would be MAD.

Aside from the topic I think the next NATO stop is African invasion key Nations Nigeria and Sudan but most likely Nigeria that's where NATO is heading there would be rift between Germany and US but they will still join in for a lunch in Africa...

you fight nonstop with the PKK, you have real conflicts, so wars are still a reaility for you. I have grown up without any danger. All i know is happiness and normal evryday problems. EU does not know war. And im thankful for that. I think i would be a terribl soldier. Being athletic amd halfway intelligent doesn't help me. I'm trained from my earliest school days to ne creative, think independend and question evrything. Military is seen as something "dirty" here. As i said, its a differnt world. We try to mechanize it, so make it even more remote,,with drones and robotic systems.

Without EU, Germany would go down the toilet, since EU is its greatest market. Germany bailes nothing out. It gives guatantees and even earns money with it. So learn your facts before you spill nonsense.
