you have no idea what you are talking about.
Think deeply. Why is each state government controlling the temples and some Mosques, but not most Mosques or Churches ?
Why is a Guruvayoor temple, Tirupati & Jama Masjid controlled by state Government, while Velankani church is not ? These are all high incomes religious entities. Jama masjid is controlled by Waqf board. Most states have waqf board.
I will give you several clues. When a property has no known verifiable owner, or was build historically by a ruler, who will the ownership be assigned to ? Who will get the treasury of Tirupati ? How about Guruvayoor ? you cannot give Guruvayoor to any caste or even a trust because there will be caste conflicts of control, looting of treasury etc.
Most of small temples i know, are built on reserved sites (for kids playground). somebody comes an plants a small Ganesh statue and then it becomes temple, no one dares to remove it. This is not the case with any Church they have clear ownership and all are build with their faithful. Most of the Mosques are also self built, unlike big temples.
Adios.

You say that the Indian government should control the management of the Hindu temples, because the treasury of the temple could otherwise be looted.
But how do you know that Indian government would not loot the treasury?
The Indian government is not known for its integrity.
I would dare to say that the Indian government is very corrupt.
I can give you several examples of where the Indian government used the money donated by Hindus for the temple for other purposes not related to the temple, Hinduism, Hindu activities or the Hindu community.
Here they are:
1. Collections from temples in Karnataka have been regularly routed to development of Madrassas & Churches and for offering Haj subsidies.

2. In the 1980s, the then Kerala chief minister K Karunakara ordered the Guruvayur Temple to deposit Rs 10 crore with the state treasury to offset a government deficit. Whether this money was ever returned or not is uncertain. In addition, the temple’s land holdings were decimated from 13000 acres to 230 acres by the Land Reforms Act which conveniently excluded non-Hindu institutions.

3. The Maharashtra government admitted to the Bombay High Court in 2004 that US$190,000 from Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple were being diverted to a charity run by a politician, Minister for Welfare, Rehabilitation and Textiles, Vilasrao Patil Undalkar.

4. In 2010, the Orissa government sold 500 acres belonging to the Jagannath Puri temple at a throw away price of Rs. 1 lakh per acre to the Vedanta Resources mining conglomerate before finally being stopped by the Supreme Court of India.

The above four examples all illustrate that the Indian government (especially the state governments) cannot be trusted and are corrupt.
Therefore they should also not manage these temples.
Do you not agree?
And by the way, regardless of who should manage the Hindu temples, why should they pay income tax, while other places of worship do not need to?
Answer me... 'amigo'.
