I really dont understand why Russia keeps arming the rebels in eastern Ukraine, though they are pro russia and even after seizing crimea. The thing is, i dont see the rebels wining this war, without a direct massive Russian intervention/troops deloyment on the ground. So it will be better for Russia to talk out to the Rebels/seperatists and make them understand that eastern Ukraine is not crimea. Its never good for a great power to have instability/conflicts close to its borders, this only shows a failed forign policy. This is one reason the U.S is such and advance/Unique superpower, as all its borders are peaceful without wars/conflicts and are friendly towards her.
Russia needs to understand that the west/U.S still has the upper hand economically, militarily,fianncially and technologically etc. The world is still controled/dominated mainly by the west(though our influence has reduced to some extent compared to a decade or so ago), so it wont serve Russia to try and take the west/U.S head on, they should try and find a negotiated solution to this crisis, since any continued sanctions might affect us, but it will affect Russia even more, since we still have the leverage to influence many other countries to join these sanctions e.g Japan,south Korea etc.

The west/U.S should look for a negotiated Solution to this crisis. since if things continue this way, then im afraid it will only get worse. plus Ukraine sovereingty should be respected by Russia, Russia has already taken/seized Crimea from Ukraine, i dont see why it cant stop there/be contented with that, it seems to still want eastern Ukraine, which i dont see that happening baring a major war. So hopefully Putin comes to his senses and stop arming/supporting these rebels, only by doing so will they want to seat on a negotiating table and be willing to make compromises, as far as they know they have moscow backing, they will keep fighting/refusing to budge. The west/U.S should also talk to the Ukraine government to seek a peaceful solution to the crisis and call for a seizefire/negotiation. hopefully common sense/cool heads will prevail.

as i said, might makes right. I feel little or no sympathy for people who are not my cultural group. Our technology depends on cheap resources from africa.

Heritage is a complex thing. Im raised german / italian. Grew up in both cultures. Why do you think it is important to label me into a specific nation? What am i? Italian or german? In italy they see me as a german and in germany as an italian. so i see myself as european.
