German Telekom detected massive attack on chinese Huawei router

The German Telekom has detected a massive cyber attack on chinese Huawei router...according to Telekom more than 100.000 router were attacked and infected. The attacker tryed to infiltrate the systems via the maintenance port. First signs of the build up of a attack on Huawei router were notice in November. Huawei was warned by the IT security company check point and released a warning to customers. According to Telekom the attack was started from a server in Russia and supported from a server in the Neatherlands... both sendet software codes most likely to build up a botnet. Since a attack last year in November the Telekom is extremly carefull and constant scan the web for unusual activity ...last year some 1.25million customers could not use internet or TV after a global attack to instal a botnet...

Good to see that international companys work together no matter where they are from!

We don't want the words"like", it need concrete data,reason.
If you are a management guy in Chinese company, you will be hardly criticized by your boss without scientific and adequate analysis

You do understand that not everybody here is an engineer right ? But I agree with your point though but such data that you are asking will not be available on the internet as no company will accept that there was a breach as it will hit their reputation with their customers.

well every security can be breached , its important how fast they react to it an stop it. also its interesting to know where the problem was .it was configuring the router badly by users or some flaw with router programing .
