German press: 'The Asian Giants Arms Race Is Starting to Look real

I'm from Taiwan and our internal security is minimal. I live in US and internal security is only in the form of border patrol. So I don't know what you are talking about. There are no rebellion here like India.

I was talking about chinese domestic security budget ,its more than chinese defence budget ,now getting the drift.

.
The US made a big deal on our Liaoning carrier though it is decades behind the American super carriers. Doesn't mean they are afraid.

We had missiles better than Agni for about 2 decades now, doesn't mean we are scared. We also have missile defense systems.

The only reason we can't "challenge" india if you must is that we can't occupy India. But a quick offensive into India is still achievable, but the losses would be too great for such land, and without penetrating into the heart of India, I doubt India would surrender today.

The thing about India is to have a effective military industry it takes decades, we are on the verge of having it, India hasn't REALLY started. Making a few things under license here and there is not. Not unless you consider we had a industry in the 80s.

A lot of Indians think because our fighters are not that different NOW, we are the same, but in fact we have built up a huge industry base with experienced teams either on the assembly line or in the labs, while India is either getting the done deal or assembling them.

The difference will only be bigger. It's like learning the piano, in the beginning we have learned the basics while you guys just learned the keys for the song, but as time goes by, we have really learnt the piano and while you just press the keys. It's apparent who will be better later on.

sleep on .. then.

if noise doesn't wake you up, a punch on the face will.

And it works to our advantage, while you sleep on.

Agni 5 is not an ICBM and its maximum range barely touches 5,000km. And India still don't have miniaturised nuclear warheads.

I do not see any Indian refute this point. Does India has the capability to miniaturize warheads? If not, than Agni V can go 5000K with a miniaturize warhead, but can only go 1000K with a large bomber drop warhead. Do India plan to put a plane carrying warhead on a missile?

.
I found this article, its a half a year old but the question is still legitimate.

Is question if India can miniature warhead and if Arihant is a technology demonstrator, which it certainly is as it only has 4 slbm tubes

What To Make of India’s Nuclear Forces | Flashpoints | The Diplomat

To be sure, India has a long way to go before it can be confident in deterring, say, China with a fleet of nuclear-powered, nuclear-armed submarines, or SSBNs. For now, its sole SSBN, is basically a technology demonstrator. It's not clear if the INS Arihant, notionally launched in 2009, will ever really conduct deterrent patrols.

And there are serious technical challenges ahead in arming this vessel or the 3-6 such boats the Indian Navy hopes for in its future fleet. As Andrew Winner has asked, can India miniaturize a nuclear warhead to fit these relatively small missiles, and can it do so without further nuclear testing? Is New Delhi stuck with the relatively modest range of this armament? And what does that mean for its ability to genuinely deter China, given the risks of having to patrol close to the Chinese coast in some hypothetical future crisis?

Blind people are incapable of seeing Indians .... or chinese, poles or somalians for that matter.

A man went to an eye specialist to get his eyes tested and asked, "Doctor, will I be able to read after wearing glasses?"

"Yes, of course," said the doctor, "why not!"

"Oh! How nice it would be," said the patient with joy, "I have been illiterate for so long."

The problem my dear faithless one, lies in your eyes.

Have faith, and you will see.

With your idiotic response, you are saying that people need to have faith that India WILL be able to miniaturize warheads. So with all these talk about "China killer" or "Beijing kill", the tip of the missile is a dud. You guys need to get things working as a complete unit before bragging by point out partially successful projects.

so. keep sleeping..

Maybe, you can educate some chinese analysts here?
India downplayed Agni-V's capacity: Chinese experts - Hindustan Times
@Hafizzz for you too dude.

Even Agni III can go 5000 kms with a one tonne warhead, and you are sayimg that Agni V can can only go 5000 km with a 1.5 tonne warhead?

And MIRV?Its underdevelopment-We already displayed oimur capability by launching 10 satellites,on a single mission.

China said that to get the EU and USA to condemn India for constantly testing and upgrading her missiles the same way they did to North Korea, Iran etc !

made in China, copied from Russia.

Made by Russian , Painted in India and renamed to BrahMos.

Yeeah right,kid...

US & EU have not reacted to reports of Agni VI,which can go 10,000 kms.

And no one will upgrade a missile that goes 5000 km with a 1 tonne warhead, with a third stage to cover the same distance, with 50% extra payload...

And the guidance, avionics systems are Indian, the ramjet engine and airframe were modified by Indians.

And development of hypersonic scramjet powered brahnos 2 would be undertaken by India alone...now shoo off.

Still trolling with same BS?I had posted various Indian RV & warhead weights on the other thread..and you ran away.

India's 10,000 km range missile would be Agni VI.

Agni V range is 5000 km with a 1.5 tonne payload.With the 200kT Thermonuclear warheads,which weight around 500 kg..think about the range...

Developed by Indians?

Dream on kid, the only thing Indian in those missiles is the paint job and even the paint was imported from us.

India neither has the technical knowledge nor the industrial capability to build its own weapons, every non-Indian knows this as universally accepted facts.

Spewing the same BS in every thread?Do trolls like you have any shame?

Indian missiles are not indigenous? We do not have technological capability or Industrial capability?

WRT what?Propulsion/guidance/alloys/composites??

Prove it or GTFO.

Anyway, werent you the guy who said JH 7 can shoot down an MKI??:omghaha:

No Warheads Secret after China Spying: Technology Aids ICBM Arsenal Targeting U.S

By Gertz, Bill
Newspaper article from The Washington Times (Washington, DC)
Article details
Beginning of article

A newly declassified House committee report says China stole secrets on every deployed U.S. nuclear missile warhead in recent years and now has 20 long-range missiles aimed at the United States.

The report, obtained yesterday by The Washington Times, is a sweeping analysis of Chinese efforts to steal U.S. military and defense secrets and technology.

"The world is a lot less safe today as a consequence of these thefts," said Rep. Christopher Cox, California Republican and chairman of the special House committee.

The release of the report this morning comes nearly six months after the committee finished its investigation. Mr. Cox said at least 30 percent has been censored by the White House, citing national security.

While the report says China stole secrets as early as the late 1970s, many occurred in the mid- and late 1990s.

"Some of the most significant thefts have occurred in the last four years" - after the Clinton administration was informed of serious security lapses, Mr. Cox said.

"It does make one wonder how it is that others who possess this information could so readily have dismissed it or not acted upon it," he said.

The report says China:

* Stole design information on the United States' most advanced thermonuclear weapons that could be incorporated in the next generation of Chinese ICBMs.

* Transferred ballistic missile technology to Iran, Pakistan, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Libya and other countries.

* Acquired some 600 supercomputers, some of which are being used in
