For me, the German Pzh 2000 is the game changer really. This is one machine that will be most heavily used in an full blown conflict and do not have any competition as of yet, it is the winner by a huge margin and then some when it comes to SPH. A true engineering marvel.

It has a big competitor in the form of Britain's own BAE M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer which even the U.S army has ordered.:D

BAE M109 Family of Vehicles (Paladin/FAASV and M109A7 SPH/ M992A3 CAT)

Even Germany itself uses a derivative of our M196A howitzer :bunny:

M109A6 Paladins(a derivative of BAE Systems M109 family of vehicle) from the European Activity Set are lined up and ready to be signed over to Battery A, 1st Battalion, 82 Field Artillery Regiment at Grafenwoehr, Germany

No one can doubt the effectiveness of Paladin but you have PZH2000 is one beast of a gun and one in its class. The impressive MRSI feature along with rapid fire gives it significant advantage over Paladin. Although there are a few guns now that incorporate the MRSI feature now but the PZH2000 along side that and its shoot and scoot ability is without a doubt as good as howitzers can get. A very effective and lethal system to have on your side.
