I don't like the Caspian Report at all.

He refers to Xinjiang as "Uyghurstan", which is the terminology used by ETIM terrorists.

So any idea of him being "objective" goes out the window.

Besides arguing semantics, what does he say that you don't like? He's not gonna change his words because you don't like it.

Part of being objective is saying things that people may not like. I don't like how he refers to Pakistan, but I know that he's simply presenting us with a neutral point of view, which is to say, a view from people outside of the conflict.

Neutral? Give me a break, all neutral organizations in the word show the map with the word Xinjiang. He had to manually edit it himself to show his bias.

how did you conclude this pakistani? you don't know anything about iran. they are pan-turkish azerbaijanis, not iranians. and iranians dont go to azerbaijan to live there.

I posted this video because I found his video on India to be quite accurate(for a foreign student, of course a well funded think thank might produce high quality video). I dont expect him to travel to every country, the fact that he did it by sourcing from internet is remarkable in my view.

Now, he might be biased, I have no way of knowing it unless you guys discuss and tell me bits that are wrong. Instead of being defensive and blaming the guy (which seems more of a automatic response).

Going into a map and deliberately changing the name to something used by the ETIM terrorist group, that is just ridiculous.

I don't know about that, there are plenty of maps that show the name as Uygheristan. I doubt that he photoshopped it and changed the name himself.

Also, the ETIM use the name Turkestan, not Uyghuristan.

You say that he's bias, but you've yet to show credible proof.

Seriously do you see Iranians spreading separatist propaganda about Pakistan and talking about Loy Afghanistan? If not why do you do it here?

I am not trolling. Dont be in a defensive mode just because the quality of posts in this subforum by non-iranians have been low or not to your own liking.
Discussion happens using logic and reason, not by identifying friend/foe (by flag, or post content) and making personal attack.

Look this stuff is sensitive. Whole world is plotting against Iran, their latest tactic has been spreading separatist propaganda. Imagine somebody did the same to India, I am sure Indian members would respond in a angry fashion.
