You both can't stop India from connecting with any nation in east or west through sea and air...... agreed if you want to deny us land routes you can...... your country your decision....... but you are still unable to explain why India needs to BEG to BD..... even for NE we won't use BD as a shortcut IF WE WERE STAUNCHEST ENEMIES LIKE INDO PAK OR INDO CHINA......

India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral highway is already started and will be completed by 2021-2022.

From Mandalay you can go up to China along AH 14 (Asian Highway 14).
