I would like Geo to be completely shut down. The way they are acting is absolute nonsense they care for no authority and they are posing that they would adhere to no ones rule or authority, which is out of understanding why? Instead of realizing the fact being thankful to this government of allowing them to expand there customer base to such an exponential size they have turned there weapons towards Govt.

Now, if they want to keep on playing and want to play cheap let us play in there playfield, in stead of shutting them down time and time again. Lets just give them a good blow.

To start with i would like some new channels like DAWN news standard being mushroomed in the country countering the Geo news. I would also like to launch hackers attack on Geo websites.

Making them deal with technological difficulties and authority pressure would certainly make this group disband.

They are using the propaganda tactics as taught by their masters i.e., to conquer the minds of the general people. And that is what they are doing as unfortunately 60% of our nation is *****, they dont understand the game behind it. My advise as also to block their sattelite signals or transmission wether its through internet or via sattelite.

I TOTALLY AGREE THAT GEO IS OUT OF CONTROL. THEY NEEDED TO BE SHUT DOWN. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT THE MEDIA SHOULD BE CRITICAL OF THE GOVERNMENT, BUT THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW IS NOT LIKE THAT. WE ARE UNDER A STATE OF EMERGENCY AND WHEN EMERGENCY IS IMPOSED IN ANY COUNTRY THEIR ARE RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR SPEECH. I DONT THINK THAT GEO NOW COULD EVER BE FAIR BECAUSE IN MY OPINION THEY ARE BEING RUN BY THE LAWYERS, BASICALLY SPEAKING THE LANGUAGE OF THE LAWYERS.

Yes Arsenal they are very much controlled and in fact executing the external agenda right now.

Primarily supported by CIA and RAW in order to topple the govt. of Pakistan and bring instability. They hav ebeen on to this issue since 2004 it is this year that Pakistan stopped playing game with US rules in terms of Grand strategy.

There mainstay is to exploit Pakistan and its society.There has been 87 so far independent movement only in year of 2007 in India but not a single channel in India covered it but Geo has been promoting anti state anti armed forces sentiments among the people since long.

People, like Hamid Mir, Dr.Shahid Masood, Nadia Khan, Hamid Raud(50mins prog) etc. getting money ranging from 100k to 250k a month is pretty much mind boggling. No other channel in Pakistan could afford to pay such massive amount to anyone.

ARY Digital which started back in 2000 in UK, is owned by Abdur Rashid Yaqeeni the Gold business tycoon. Even they dont pay much to there anchors.

Geo came out to be very much true image of Pakistani society reallizing there true potential, CIA and Raw under the cover of NGOs and big business tycoons started tipping off these insane people who understand only the language of money. And as a matter of fact they started putting on things on air which are only meant to create mental stress and disturbances for society.

Geo is not a free speech media, it is infact very much a third party owned agenda propogating media meant for anti state.

May ALLAH Bring everyone of us the sanity to distinguish of whats right and whats wrong.

Geo needs to be shut down, and i would rather say strict cyberwarfare should be waged on such insolent media which was meant to work for the development of society and state rather working against it.

What are you talking about? the world's major agencies don't try to silence their own population into submission.

Geo is asking for the constitituion to be restored and for individual rights to be returned to the citizens of Pakistan. They are arguing for the return of freedom of speech and for the right of assembly. They are asking for fired supreme court judges who were removed for political purposes to be reinstated. I don't see how this is a bad thing.
