Well Indian nuclear weapons are in the hands of RSS terrorists. I wouldnt be surprise if this has changed the mindset of our leadership. Pakistan unlike India does not have strategic depth and 1 or two successful nuclear strikes God forbid on Pakistan will wipe us out. No shield will prove to be an absolute cover against a nuclear strike however chances of survival against enemy becomes better.

One or two nuclear strikes - that too of fission bombs? If we are to take a purely material outlook - our military assets are probably far too spread out to be crippled by one or two nuclear strikes.

Besides, when things go nuclear to the point of attacking other country territories - it would be likely be full strike instead of one or two.

I'm sure all parties will avoid crossing the nuke threshold of the other.
