terrorists can strike the weakest spots and you cant prevent it unless you put a checkpost against every single building in the country and a soldier on every single person. . his main success is due to North Waziristan operation and his army killing everyone who was not Pakistan army. everyone else was considered hostile after moving the civil population out.

but his lack of action in LeT and LeJ infested southern Punjab and biggest ISIS supporter of Lal masjid puts a question mark on his otherwise good record.

Either way you don't need a rank to see that this man has drastically reduced terrorism and has been the most active general in visiting soldiers on the front lines AND visiting other nations' generals to establish ties.

Firstly whether this story is legit or not , lets leave it aside, since it mentioned a Pakistani General in good terms you and your country fellows started burning at both ends, that proves your obsession and bankrupt psyche. I understand this, but if one go by the number of attacks before and after, one can see a huge drop..... Yes there were few high profile attacks in APS.... but over all there is a significant drop....

we are signatory in UN sanctioned war on terror so TTP and AL Qaeda members .. local or foreigners are enemies and dont enjoy the protection as normal citizens. BLA is insurgency / foreign funded mutiny like Indian supported terrorism in former east Pakistan.. that is different.
