He is advocating to come out of USA's game plan, which is exactly done by General Qamar Javed Bajwa, that is why USA is very desperate, putting Pakistan on notice...

Its not about having balls or lack of it. When you have people in high positions both in military and civilians who got money parked outside, business interests, and family, sons, daughters, wives settled in foreign countries, then by default these people become liability to Pakistan.

You are not getting the point. Say you are general in army, and your kids are settled in west. You have a very strong career and came through merit. Now you find yourself in a situation where you need to make some decision which will serve Pakistan but will go against the interest of the nation where you kids/family are settled.

What would you do? Say if you receive a call that harm would come to your kids if certain decisions are made??


Musharraf from example, got his kids settled in America. Not disputing his patriotism, but would I expect him to make decisions which will go against America where he has got personal liability with America?

Our establishment, our deep state and civilian government must not let such individuals reach the positions of sensitive nature. Its nothing to do with capabilities or questioning their patriotism. Pakistan must have people in high position with ZERO liability outside Pakistan.

He could have been one of the dissenting voices. But it was Musharraf making final calls. Musharraf was totally in line with USA. This has landed us in a lot of trouble. Too many innocent killed in our country.

If he was so much against whatever his boss was doing then the honourable thing to do was to handover his resignation. That would have given him a much more moral standpoint from where his criticism of the then government can be held as genuine. However, in our part of the world, such resignations rarely, if at all, happen and this video is just a rambling of an old hand for media consumption.
