In Russia tested an anti-aircraft missiles "Sosna-M"

Saudi Arabia, Iran and Venezuela are major exporters of crude oil. Russia is also a big exporter of gas and can supply Pakistan through its purchased gas from Turkmenistan.

Japan is the technological giant of the East and is already helping Pakistan in various projects.

Cuba is known for its independent policy and is the leading voice of the leftist world and will help us in gaining more space and allies diplomatically. The Cuban doctors performed selflessly during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan.

Republic of Ireland is known for its independent foreign policy on the European mainland as opposed to Britain which is always toeing the American line.

Iran has patched up its differences with America and is emerging on world stage as a mature power.

Turkey is leading the Muslim world in moderate thought, technology, foreign investment and outreach.

Preparations for Angara Test Flights Start at Russia’s Plesetsk Space Center

MOSCOW, June 20 (RIA Novosti) –Test flights of the Angara carrier rocket are due to start at Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia’s Arkhangelsk Region, where the new carrier rocket is due to be launched in late June, Colonel Alexei Zolotukhin, a spokesman for Russia’s Aerospace Defense Forces, told RIA Novosti Friday.

“The decision on the start of test flights was made at a session of the state committee today, on June 20, at the headquarters of the Aerospace Defense Forces,” Zolotukhin said.

The committee members have assessed the readiness of the Angara-1.2PP rocket and the surface facilities to launch the test flights and set the expected date for the rocket delivery to the Plesetsk launch site for June 25. The final decision is to be announced June 24.

The first launch of the new Angara carrier rocket has been delayed from June 25 to June 27, Alexei Zolotukhin confirmed to RIA Novosti. On Thursday, a source in the space industry reported the delay.

“The first test launch of the Angara-1.2PP light rocket to be made from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome is due on June 27," Zolotukhin said.

The Angara family of rockets, in development since 1995, is planned to be built in light, semi-heavy and heavy versions to lift a variety of payloads between two and 40 metric tons into low orbit around the Earth.

The rocket has a liquid-oxygen and kerosene powered first stage and hydrogen-oxygen fueled second stage, so-called green fuels that will make the rocket both more ecologically friendly and safer for support personnel than the country’s current largest rocket, the Proton.

Angara is designed to complement the country’s venerable Soyuz rocket, currently the only vehicle in the world capable of launching astronauts to the International Space Station.

Russia to Test New Mobile Communications System during Vostok-2014 Exercise

The Russian military is to test its new mobile communications system, which is superior to its foreign alternatives, during the Vostok-2014 strategic exercise in Russia’s Eastern Military District, the Defense Ministry announced Thursday.
“In the course of the Vostok-2014 strategic exercise, which will be conducted in September of this year in the Eastern Military District, communications specialists will test the newest communications control system through a Tiger light-armored vehicle. The new system is able to provide all types of communications, including radio, satellite, wire and relay. It’s really a mini communications hub, superior to alternatives used in foreign armies,” stated the ministry.
In 2014, the Eastern Military District will receive 140 items of new-generation communications equipment, including medium-range radios, command and staff vehicles, and tropospheric and satellite communications stations. This year, the district has already received medium-range digital radios and ten comprehensive communications units.
By the end of the year, the Russian Armed Forces is to engage in more than 300 tactical exercises, with Vostok-2014 being the largest. The Defense Ministry stated the exercise would emphasize the coordinated strategy and tactical cooperation of units involved in military missions. All branches of Russia’s Armed Forces will take part and there will be no detailed scenario developed in advance.

Russia’s Iskander-E Missile System Ready for Deliveries to Other Countries

MINSK, July 10 (RIA Novosti) – Iskander-E mobile theater ballistic missile systems are ready for export, awaiting a decision by state authorities, the head of the Russian delegation to arms and military exhibition MILEX-2014 Valery Varlamov said Thursday.

"Iskander-E [NATO reporting name: SS-26 Stone] is ready for deliveries to other countries, as well as S-400 Triumf [NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler], but the state authorities need to approve it first," Varlamov said.

The representative said that Russia "will deliver [the systems] to any country, if there is such a decision of the president and the government."

A few years ago, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that S-400 will be produced only in the interests of Russia. Even partners such as Belarus and Kazakhstan will receive them only after the Russian missile defense system is fully equipped, the ministry said.

No such statements have been made about Iskander in public, but in practice the situation is the same, a source in the Russian military-industrial complex told RIA Novosti.

Iskander is one of the country’s most powerful missile strike systems used in the nation’s ground forces. Iskander missiles are nuclear-capable and can make use of different types of reentry vehicles to engage a wide range of targets, from enemy military units to underground command centers.

Iskander systems were successfully tested in 2007. The Russian Army currently uses its Iskander-M and Iskander-K variants. Iskander-E is an export version, with just one rocket on the ballistic missile launcher instead of two, and a range of up to 174 miles.
