See bold above:
1) US's law makers and politicians come from real educated backgrounds and an established system that keeps getting mature over time, and has been for decades. This is the MAIN point. The military in Pakistan has never allowed such a system to be created and mature over time. Ever time there is the "Democracy", its after many years of Military rule so you can't really do a whole lot when you have to grow the economy, create peace and provide human advancement, jobs and electricity. By closing your eyes when you face a problem it didn't go away, you just pretended it did. Similarly, these military rules have destroyed Pakistan, where no one could really set long term growth and stability goals. This is the first time long term planning is happening do I hope the system keep moving forward for a better Pakistan.

When ZAB got the seat it was full of feathers what did he add to it? Did Military at that time stop him from proper utilisation of those resources and sensible thinking? With all that public support what did he contribute?

2) The Civlian government isn't sitting on their couches eating Fish and Chips. They are running around, trying to fix the electric issue, deal with terrorism, violence internally by IK, issues in Karachi, Fata, Baluchistan, no power, no jobs, etc, etc. Its silly to expect quick decisions on such critical topic. Peshawer incident provided that unity that was needed. The military is like a hammer. When all you have is a hemmer, everything looks like a nail to you. You can't just quick deploy military, there is a lot of political will and work to provide support to the military.

When you are faced with lots of problems you prioritize those and assign a ranking like most critical, critical and least critical, then you look at your resources, allocate those resources according to your ranking of the issues. You set your development priorities right, plan for the most urgent projects on top priority, look for venues that will add to your scarce resources, BUT YOU NEVER START BUILDING USELESS FOOLISH METROS when you know your energy sector needs a push, you need new dams, you need to revive your industry. You go for long term sustaining projects that will result in resources to allow you build Metros and railways later on.

I will like to see results first ie Mullah Fazalullah dead or captured then i will rate them.

One characteristic that stands out in Pak Polity across decades is the love and adulation for what a man in Khaki does.

Ayub, Yahya, Zia, Mush - all were darlings of the masses .

Only either after their demise of removal from power did the nation comprehend the entire gravity of the monumental mistakes these ' darlings' did whose ill effects the nation feels now.

I see another instance here.

The basis of democracy is trust and reliance on the system. If a problem is there, you should try to fix it democratically. Look at Kejriwal. He wasn't a part of establishment nor a political cadre with a background. He trusted in self and the polotical system. Ascemsion to power via undemocratic means leaves a legacy others will inevitably follow. Look at BNP. It's doing the same thing AL did in 1994.

If civilian govt is incompetent army should push it from back to be better and better. And never come in front. The former should remain the focal character.

what Could our Government Do in reality positively?

Dear, these Political Cartoons should better Stay Silent. Let Raheel & Rizwan play the Game :pakistan:

Pardon me, but it's this mentality that undermine a nation's democracy. Armed forces should work under a government. Not along with it. But hey it's Pakistan, a land of opportunities!

Dear, you can see the DEMOCRACY going on in Syria, Iraq, Egypt. Yugoslavia was also dismembered through this DEMOCRACY. Entire Muslim Ummah is being destroyed.
Do you want Pakistan end like Yugoslavia?
Wake Up Kid !!!

To Hell with this Bloody Democracy!

We WON'T let this filthy Democracy take over Pakistan. ALWAYS standing by the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

InShaALLAH, Great Khair is coming for PakSarZameen :pakistan:

See the bold above, you can issue your little warnings to others, your generals still come to Washington to get direction. Let's get back to reality and address your bold parts above:
1) I know the ground realities more than you can imagine. You forgot, it was the US who'd been telling you to clean up this mess since 2002. But had you listened, you'd see our honest advise as we had calculated that this Taliban terrorism will become much bigger issue for Pakistan. So PLEASE, don't preach to the quier about the "ground realities". The term doesn't apply here.

2) I don't think there is any doubt in Pakistani military's professional services and the role it plays to protect its country. My remarks were that the two generals being glorified here, are just doing there jobs. We have generals who've commanded large scale wars and operations. They get respect from the country but no one thinks they are doing something special. They are soldiers and when the civilian government asks and the Commander in Chief orders (The President of the US), the military moves in to do their work and they do it well.

Could you care to explain why there weren't many if any at all suicide bombing in Pakistan before the US invaded Afghanistan! None, Absolutely nothing, Nada! 65,000 Pakistani's dead is the price Pakistan is paying to be a US Ally.

Don't you have any other work to do?
WHY are you worrying about a country whose existence is NOT accepted by you?

We DON'T need your analysis :))))
Keep your house in order dear, DON'T worry about us.

General Raheel, sitting in Karachi with the PM, heavily criticized the PPP MQM political murder club and called them \na-mard'. He also said some corrupt politicians must be brought to task and given exemplary punishments.

At this news, I pondered what a great disservice Musharraf did by issuing NRO - giving amnesty to killer MQM and corrupt PPP.

Since it's inception Pakistan has been an Ally to US and this collaboration has been fortified for Decades. Our relationship has been based on Mutual Understanding, Respect and Friendship and we want it to continue it till eternity.

You give us advise on how to control terrorism?
What were your forces able to accomplish at Afghanistan. Were you able to conquer the whole of Afghanistan?
You want to dignify ground realities. You were not able to control Afghanistan and terrorism in it even with the full Fledged Backing of your Super Military Power.

It teaches us that terrorism can not be contained by Force. As you can't change a mindset by force. Neither US nor Pak..

See answers to the bold part above:
1) I've said it on here and on many other places the same thing. Pakistan has been a good ally to the US since her inception. No doubt about it. Both the country have been doing a lot of military to military work supporting the US for many decades. And that relationship continues today, based on mutual interests, respect and friendship.

2) Our forces were never there to "conquer" Afghanistan. Our objectives were based on our military strategy, which primarily focused on killing OBL and his terrorist buddies, destroying and dismantling Al-Qaeda's apparatus in Afghanistan and across the globe, destroying and permanently dismantling training camps to minimize terrorist production. We achieved every single one of these objectives and left. No one went to Afghanistan to conquer it. People on this forum say the same about Iraq. We never went to Iraq to conquer it either.

3) I agree, terrorism isn't treated with force by itself. There is an entire Rehab process needed, from education to jobs to change in the religious ideology so that the next generation of kids living in those areas in Afghanistan, come out educated in science and understand tolerance for others and understand that the peaceful world includes Muslims, Christians, Jews and Hindus alike. Something that's never taught in those Madrassas today and these kids then are brain washed by Mullahs, and indirectly forced to do terrorism.

Sir,

You may say it in whatever manner you want to---but when you land your troops in a nation and defeat its military and your military takes over it means conquest and you are the conquerer---.

So if the U S did not conquer it---then what did it do---get fckued---! I mean to say what kind of stupidty is that----.

Seems like a new drama----before people start to blame the ISIS on the actions from the U S.

U S conquered the nation---its military annihilated the nations military----it took charge---it build its military bases in that country---it build jails for the iraqi prisoners----it had torture cells and interrogation facilities in that jail---it destroyed the infra structure of that nation and all its weapons and weapons system----it hanged the dethroned President---it killed the men of the president's family---and after 13 years of rule of murder and mayhem---chaos and anarchy------you say that the U S did not conquer the nation---what kind of DRAMA QUEEN are you!

Likewise,

1) Much Appreciated and Honored.

2) Sadly we both know that terror Production was NOT contained even after the US land based operations and surgical strikes in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is yet the bee hive hub of terror production works even after the US departed. id link that up again with the problem associated with the ideology which can't be fixed by force.

3) Your third point is is quite commendable and relevant . let me add to it that all 3 major religions you mentioned are indeed divine because all three of them are based on the sacred books of GOD. And in all of those books there is a message of Peace rather than War, especially in Islam.

A Madrassa is literally a place where the final sacred book of GOD is taught and learnt. Madrassas are not bad, some of the preachers (the black sheeps) in them inhibit twisted and fake ideology because they themselves are illiterate and incapable of preaching the true message of Islam.

However, because of religious illiteracy in addition to the material one, some individuals use the name of Islam to create a negative image and present their own form of Islam (with hate, violence and terror) to cater their own interests. And the main reason about that is that they themselves are unaware of the true essence of the message of Islam (which promotes Peace rather than terror). Those people then for their own personal gains preach Islam in a wrongful manner to the students of those Madrassas by proving their twisted logic by using out of context content from the sacred book thereby stimulating an unnecessary and illogical violence in them. They create a fictitious fantasy in their brains thereby mind controlling them to kill innocent people by personal explosions and so on...
