Yeah - how long have we been listening to this incessant pleading and BS excuses of 'trust the military leadership, they know what they are doing' - for decades, as we lose more and more soldiers in attacks that could have been prevented.

The facade has finally crumbled and the mask come off - the military leadership could have taken decisions to provide soldiers deployed in COIN operations in FATA and Balochistan with better protection, better vehicles, better aerial coverage and air support a long time ago - they didn't because they have been too busy building housing societies and minting money and pumping funds into surveilling, blackmailing, manipulating and controlling politicians, bureaucrats, judges, journalists, media owners and businessmen.

Amazing how times and thoughts change and evolve, eh? Quite amazing.

Truly sad brother, even 1 solider is to much for us to lose as we lose not just a member of society, but skills he/she has accumulated over the years. But even loses do happen, but make it worth while. Often they think accomplishing the mission should be the sole goal, even if you have to thrown men/women into the grinder is an outdated colonial approach that's used as a British Raj legacy within the ranks.

The other problem I see in Pakistani's is blindly follow anything without any introspection and deep analysis.

USA’s CENTCOM Commander along with delegation visited GHQ #PakArmy today. He had a 1-1 meeting with COAS Gen Qamar J Bajwa. Matters of mutual interest, reg sec situation, stability, defence & security cooperation particularly mil-mil ties were discussed during the meeting.

Please be very careful of Indian imposters who are coming to these threads to exploit the current fissures in our society. He’s probably Annoyed he has to do the photo ops. The current centcom commander lead the 75th Ranger Regiment in Afghanistan from 2009-2011, so he was there in the thick of it. Probably feels he doesn’t need to be reminded of it.

Probably also annoyed he to be at what is now a tertiary command, now that the European command is second place and Indo-Pacom is the primary theater command.

He would probably want to be training with his men then being a diplomat.
