New Delhi, Mar 15 (bdnews24.com) – Army Chief Gen. Md Abdul Mubeen was presented with a Guard of Honour by the soldiers of the Indian Army in New Delhi on Monday.

General Mubeen arrived Sunday on a five-day tour at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Gen. Deepak Kapoor.

Gen. Kapoor formally welcomed the Bangladesh army chief during the Guard of Honour on the South Block Lawns in New Delhi.

Gen. Mubeen is accompanied by his wife and senior officials of the Bangladesh Army.

He will have a formal meeting with Gen. Kapoor where they will discuss matters of mutual interest. He is also likely to visit different establishments of the Indian Army.

A spokesman of the Indian defence ministry said that the meeting between the two army chiefs would focus on building future bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries.

Gen. Mubeen's visit to India comes just two months after chief of Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal P V Naik had travelled to Bangladesh on a goodwill visit in January.

It is not exactly a goodwill visit. Strategic matters will be discussed, and since a joint cooperation between the two armies cannot be either against Pakistan or against China, therefore, the core of the discussion may be how to wipe out the Assamese freedom fighters.

When your terrorist BSF kill, injured and intrude into our land than what trust are you talking about? Bharatis are neither to be trusted nor to be friend with.

Army Chief Gen. Md Abdul Mubeen was presented with a Guard of Honour by BSF shooting and injuring 30 Bangladeshis.

Now if Gen Mobin feel honored as some in this forum do then we know how deep Bangladesh army has been infiltrated by indians.

If not then Gen Mubeen will speak out against indian action. Let's see which is the case.

It was dalal since the birth so we do not really count on them munafiq however I am not ready to give up on entire army yet as I believe that there are bangaldeshi islamic nationalist still have a strong presence. this dalal munafiq government was elected by a majority vote by your own people. Are all Awami League supporters dalals and munafiqs? and what if the bangladeshi army also obey the government and not 'rise to the situation'? will they all be branded dalals and munafiqs?

you don't live in Bangladesh, don't vote in Bangladesh and regularly abuse democratically government of Bangladesh shows ur intentions.

The radicals you are talking about are a tiny minority in Bangladesh and Bangladesh is determined to get progress so no amount of brainwashed can't derail their development.
