Bajwa turned out to be a pretty bad leader. The issue I see is the institution he worked for either didn't realise that or turned a blind eye too it. That makes them complicit in his actions and incompetent.

Your Army leader is the product of the same institutions that did not allow any democratic setup to function in the last 75 years...It is the same army that killed more than one of your elected representatives in the past with the excuse that the Army is saner than the politicians...So it is not like Bzwa is a bad leader rather he is the symptom of an institution that does not believe in any supremacy of civilians.
The only difference in this situation is Imran Khan...Earlier, it is difficult to choose the worse among Army and politicians as politicians are crooks. But in the current scenario, IK turned out to be an honest and sincere leader who does not follow the footsteps of the Army command who brought him to power...

So do not expect any change in your institution which is functioning as it is expected to operate..

What a sack bunch of “military” officers that have no fight left in them or never did. I will never forget 9/12/2001 when US Army GEN. Shelton of the Joint chief of staff said in front of the world barely a day after the attacks, “make no doubt about it, your armed forces are ready.” It gave us hope - we didn’t know the extend of who was behind it at the time.

That’s a what a military chief looks like, not these cowards begging for peace every other day or asking the UN to intervene. They have this weird codependency. I have an idea, pick the most warlike, unemotional people from the most berserker tribe and make them Generals.

Kashmir is not an integral part of Pakistan but a cash cow for many who are milking it for far too long just for the sake of it . Even the vast majority of Pakistani kashmiris could care less about their ex home town when you see how vehemently the majority of them support n league and navaz despite knowing his ultimate soft corner for India.


Better make a deal with India involving international power brokers to create a unified Kashmir and leave it to the u.n forces to be defended/managed etc. Let's just put an end to the iok's miseries as everyone seems to be chilling around except the Indian Kashmiri.
