Those Abrams which is going to Morocco are from American Army stocks\graveyard and they were build in 80s. They have tiny armour and can be penetrated in frontal area even by old Metis from 70s. Not to mention newer ATGM.

They have no chance against Algerian T-72\T-90, also.

If case you didn'know, ALL Leopard 2 A6 and A7 are REBUILT Leopard 2 A4s.

Production of M1A1 tanks for the US Army is complete. Over 8,800 M1 and M1A1 tanks have been produced for the US Army and Marine Corps, and the armies of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Production of new M1A1 and M1A2 Abrams tanks is in its final phase for Foreign Military Sales.

Three versions of the Abrams tank are currently in service: the original M1 model, dating from the early 1980s, and two newer versions, designated M1A1 and M1A2.
The M1A1 series, produced from 1985 through 1993, replaced the M1's 105mm main gun with a 120mm gun and incorporated numerous other enhancements, including an improved suspension, a new turret, increased armor protection, and a nuclear-chemical-biological protection system. The newer M1A2 series includes all of the M1A1 features plus a commander's independent thermal viewer, an independent commander's weapon station, position navigation equipment, and a digital data bus and radio interface unit providing a common picture among M1A2s on the battlefield.

In lieu of new production, the Army is upgrading approximately 1,000 older M1 tanks to the M1A2 configuration

Sauids leave their tanks in non moving position in a middle of a field , giving even a brand new ATGM operator an extremely easy shot to the side of the tank right to the ammo.

That is not true...The training of the tank crews play a bigger a role. I am sure you took for example the desert storm war, most of the T 72 destruction was due to the A-10 and the Apaches helicopters not to the Abrams that stayed at arms length from the T 72..

Wrong again, several Abrams were disabled by RPG's in Irak during desert storm and the last one, especially during the GWB war.

Algeria's deficit is manageable too. The defense budget for 2016 is 1118.2 Billions Dinars or $ B12.12 at today's exchange rate

Electronics, ie telemetry, gunner sight, sensors are not a Russian make , as well as the engine..It does have the Shtora System. The T 90 are built to the Algerian army specifications which are totally different from the Russians army needs.
