GCC Seeks To Form Military Bloc With Jordan, Morocco

. . . .
Looking for out our interests is okay but joining some sort of union would be a foolish thing and its not like the Arabs are going to invite us to an Arab union.

There is nothing wrong in joining the union if its in our interests as well as it proves constructive for regional stability and peace. Please note that we are not a superpower that we can go alone. Judging from NATO, if such an alliance emerges in the gulf and they want us to join, we must seriously consider on the merit of our national interests.

. . .
We have a genuine stake in the regional security paradigm which will not be ignored.

You will have your hand full if Mody wins the Indian election. A GCC defence pact extended to Morocco will be more an Algerian concern than Pakistani..

Algeria left out? :what:
The GCC's goal is to get all the existing monarchies to create a solid political and military block to defend the perpetuation of the feudal system in place. Algeria, based on its revolutionary history will not join the GCC, that not to say, it will come to its defence if attacked, just like she did in Egypt. However, she will do everything in her power to torpedo the inclusion of Morocco. The inclusion of Morocco in the GCC will be regarded as an unfriendly gesture.

They are no monarchy & a Russian ally @Ceylal
Algeria is allied to no one...She didn't do it during the cold war...And she is still member of the non-allied movement..

Modi is just an odd idiot, he won't pick a fight with Pakistan. His military generals know for a fact how much a war with Pakistan would cost. Pakistan reserves the right to seek out its interests and if the GCC whom with we share old ties with decide to go ahead with a military union involving Pakistan, we will give it a serious thought.

Saudis are useless even with their f-15 and apache the couldn't beat the light armed houthists they called the Jordanian and Moroccan mercenaries to do the job for them that they couldn't do

I like when you use "will" in each of your fascinations.

Since you call a politician an idiot (name calling is prohibited), this idiot is shrewd ahmedabadi, he never call upon anything which dont bring more money. Believe me if he can find the way of making money from war, a war is upon you.

Jokes apart, he never called for war, just a reply in your own medicine. May be some higher doge.

On topic: How many military blocks pakistan wants to join by the way?

Its not about capability, I am sure they are.

But then why to die if you can buy someone else to die for you?

 How many times do I need to kill you argument?

According to Iran's media outlet, Government, we were accused of committing war crimes. I don't know who to believe, you or your Government?

If we - as you seem to be suggesting - called upon mercenaries to do the job on our behalf then why on earth would Iran ask the Intl Amnesty to wage an arm-embargo campiegn against KSA?

No, we rejected Yemen's call to drive the rebels up to the Central Northern within their OWN TERRITORY. Therefore, they were left with no option but seeking Jordan's, Morocco's help.

We will never abuse our self-defensive mechanism for the sake of someone else's fight. The issue we had had with the terrorists was no different from Israel's issue with Hezbollah at the expense of the rest of Lebanon. At the end of the conflict, Hezbollah was forced to retreat where the army of Lebanon - as well as other peacekeeping missions of different countries - advanced to secure the area from Hezbollah's infiltration.

Not a pro in gulf politics, but as an outsider I have a strong feeling that Saudi use their petro dollar power more than their arms strength.

Not a bad choice though unlike pakistan who always look for reason to flex muscle and tries to gain some respect in islamic world with only thing they are good in - war and fights.
