GCC Eyeing Egypt in Caliphate Drive

The GCC monetary union is already close. As this building the future GCC central bank is about to finish:
large

And yes the "building tall buildings" guys are going to come but you have to realize these buildings are built by all nations as a show case of industrial might. In fact such buildings inspire confidence for future investments.

Am getting a malware warning for the last page of this thread? Whats going on? :undecided:

An Egyptian protester carries a newspaper with a front page picture of security forces beating a female demonstrator during last Saturday's clashes, with army soldiers near Tahrir Square in Cairo, Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011. The Arabic headline reads "Liars." Egypt's military sought to isolate pro-democracy activists protesting against their rule, depicting them as conspirators and vandals, as troops and protesters clashed for a third straight day, pelting each other with stones near parliament in the heart of the capital.

It shows Egypt Military is very poor disciplines and weaks, where is Saudi Arabia supports to calm these protesters ?

I just saw this.... Egypt is not over yet... Tears are running down my eyes this is not acceptable.

This really makes me sad, but at least i am i know people won't give up their freedom. We won't go back.

Don't....You were given an opportunity that is....envied.. by others. Don't you dare waste it.
I hope it works for the best. I am not sure why people are protesting, but that doesn't give anybody the right to attack them. Its a transation period, so stuff like that are expected. It could have been way worse, just look around us.

If you read my posts, I have been equally critical of Iran's support for Syria's Asaad.

By 'sticking to principles' I meant continuing with nuclear program, supporting anti-Israel groups, funding democratic Palestinian institutions (even when Arabs stopped funding due to US/Israeli demands).

There is a reason Israel takes the Iranian threat seriously, while they barely waste any breath talking about Arabs.
The only "principles" Iranians stand by are those that protect their interests. Those that help spread their ideology and extend influence in the region. They are essentially fighting for survival after all. If you think they're so religiously principled then my question to you is, what have they contributed to well being of the Ummah as a whole? Can you name any projects or treaties they have signed up with muslim nations to the benefit of people?

Iran has never been a serious threat to Israel, if they were, Israeli' jets would have bombed their nuke installments a long ago. If Israel could bomb Iraq's nuke program when Iraq was a formidable military force, what was stopping them from attacking n destablizing much weaker Iran?

My thesis is that the neo-cons an zionists deliberately allowed Iranian regime to establish influence in the region to the detriment of Arab Monarchies, for one it keeps a check on the Arab kingdoms, secondly growing Iranian military creates a threat for them allowing American military complex to sell expensive weapons to the kingdoms and give a reason to establish bases. Saudi arabia alone has become the second biggest purchaser of US weapons after Israel in the last two decades as Iranians have grown.

Last but not least, Israelis are not foolish to go to war with the Saudi's or any other GCC arabs, they have no direct threat from the GCC kingdoms. Because they know by going to war with any of the Arab countries would unite all Arabs or possibly muslims against them. Therefore it is more suitable for them to let Iran grow its muscles n let Muslims embroil in regional rivalry.

Not to take away credit from the Iranian Govn't, Ahmedinejad has played his cards right by pushing the influence of Shiite clergy back, and press for political reconciliation with the Saudi Govn't the past few years, which infuriated the neo-cons/zionists in the white house to such an extent that they had to orchestrate an assassination plot on Saudi foreigner minister and blame the Iranians for it to destablize relations.

These protests largely represent distrust and animosity between the authorities and people built up over decades of Dictatorial rule which embeds deep rooted socio-economic inequalities in society. Those in power are not going to let it go so easily...i think Egyptians are going to have to struggle a lot more.

Those in power wants to leave as soon as they can, its not a prize to rule Egypt at the moment, they are leaving before 7/1/2012, no question in my mind.

Islamic brother hood replaced with Arab nationalism..something very much the british wanted..welcome to the new middle east..the future of muslims is going to be very miserable unless offcourse turkey or iran steps in to fill the gap..arabs are hopeless and will remain hopeless with such kind of moves!

I think its time to sit down with the Iranians..listen to them once..and get out of this Arab supremacy game..the Arabs are dying hard to convince the world that they are some sort of unified race and among them..the GCC are the pure race..first step towards Nazi and Mussolini type fascism.

BTW, there is not a bit of similarity in the culture of Egypt, Jordan and Arabian Gulf Countries..even the Arabic language is spoken by their local dialiects and a Saudi will have hard time understanding anything from an Egyptian!

What Arab Supremacy ? Arab is not even a race, Egyptians, Syrian, Saudis, Sudanese. Algerians comes from diff. ethnic groups, but we happen to speak the same Lang. because our ancestors decided to learn Arabic so they can read/learn Quran and Islam. It has nothing to do with supremacy, it is just that we all know that when/if we unite together we could be stronger. Our similiarties are way more than our similarities are way more than our differences. We watch the same movies, we listen to the same songs, watch the same news channels, ect.. If Americans can unite and become one nation regardless to their color, race, ect. why can't we ? We share a lot of similarties with you guys too, maybe an Islamic union like a European Union could be a reality one day..... i.e. No body in the Arab will ever have any hard time understanding anything from an Egyptian.

^^ my Moroccan friend has hard time understanding the Saudi dialect! and he is a hardcore Arab/Maghrib Nationalist !
