Netanyahu says Israel will annex parts of West Bank

Jerusalem (CNN)Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced plans to annex parts of the West Bank if he wins re-election next week.

Netanyahu told reporters at a press conference that, if re-elected and able to form a coalition, he would apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and the northern Dead Sea.

He said he expected US President Donald Trump to present his Middle East peace plan just days after Israelis vote next Tuesday, September 17, and that in co-ordination with the US, he would also look to apply sovereignty over all Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

"[The US plan] poses a great challenge for us and a great opportunity, a historic opportunity to apply sovereignty over settlements in the West Bank and other areas of importance to our heritage," Netanyahu said.

PA WARNS ISRAEL AGAINST ‘ANNEXING’ WEST BANK

The Palestinians on Tuesday strongly condemned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s to extend Israeli sovereignty to parts of the West Bank and warned that such a move would have negative consequences.

It's a symbolic move, Israel sent Egyptian delegation to prevent Gaza from responding to previous murder of child during Friday demonstration and airstrikes later that weekend. He thought he was good and he thinks weak, tiny, isolated Gaza is afraid of him and then the Resistance does this. It's embarrassing for him considering he does hold defense minister portfolio and has been bashed for his Gaza policy.

Other measures will be taken by the PA and Palestinian public in the West Bank and Gaza.

Good job Hamas, make sure you check every media outlet that seeks interviews or enters Gaza. Often times they are working with foreign intelligence agencies. And if they are not, they will bombard you with only Israeli narrative and blame you for anything that occurs by default. Which is not real journalism. Real journalists should sincerely seek narrative of both sides then make their own effort to address bigger picture and context.

Don't worry, we will fight, did you think anyone else was going to do it?? And don't pretend to know what Allah has deemed or not deemed. And the Turks were already collapsing. And hardly any Arabs fought with the British. You seem to confine Arabs to one or two tribes.
