No, this is not the right reading, Israel is delaying the incursion not because hostages, Israel does not care anymore by hostages, because they are bombing gaza... they delay the operation hoping Iran draws their red line about invasion of Gaza.

The beef now is Israel invades Gaza or not, and the inmediate consequences it can follow.

The only thing is stopping Israel adeventure is Iran now.

IMHO, it’s not possible with the level of animus between enough of the two peoples for a one state solution to work. Only a two state solution is even feasible.

But this is how it is. I've been seeing the same rhetoric,this same thing you just described,from many "islamic keyboard warriors" online for years. Basically it breaks down to this:

-When non-Muslims are winning,they are "evil invaders,butchers,they are genociding us,where is the world,we are victims"
-When Muslims are winning,they are "cowards,they can't fight against Muslims,they always run away,they are only good for commiting genocide against unarmed civilians,fighting women and children" etc. etc.

I've seen such nonsense commented on topics about: Afghanistan,Iraq,Chechnya,Greek War of Independence,Balkan Wars, Yugoslav Wars,Israeli-Palestinian conflict,Nagorno-Karabakh.

There is a Hadith that says that one day Muslims will be like the foam of a sea—vast in numbers but weak because of fear of death and love for this world. There are many Hadith that predict that Jesus will return.

For the first few hundred years Islam was led by Arabs. After the Mongol invasions, by around 1250, leadership of the Muslim world got transferred to Turks, which lasted till around 1918. Transfer of control from one people to another has happened before.

With the above information in mind, I think that Muslims of today have failed and there is another change in leadership due. The arrival of Jesus will be the critical point. People of European descent will become Muslims and assume the leadership of Islam for the next few centuries. The British and Germans will be an important component of that.
