Now, if Hamas do not have any plan to counter this offensive and fight it out heads on protecting their civilian, then what is the point in executing an attack and then not planning the aftermath?

Firstly, it is a false distinction between 'Hamas' and 'Palestinians'. Hamas is the Palestinian who can fight back due to certain geographical advantages.

But all Palestinians have to fight: Because for Palestinians it is truly a Do or Die situation. Plenty of Israelis have not hidden their eventual plan: Either deporting to the 'True Palestine' which they call Jordan or be boot-polishers or be confined to some Bantustan.

BTW, the situation in Palestine is not that of status quo!! That's a misnomer: The Palestinian situation is losing land every day, house by house, block by block, one olive tree at a time.
