Occupying Gaza Strip?! A heavily militarized region of 2+ million Israel haters?? In past, all Israel was able to do was to hold on to tiny Settlements in Gaza Strip which was a very costly occupation and eventually, like always, it was the American taxpayers who paid Sharon to evacuate those Settlements (I think in 2005).

Not the entire Gaza strip, you only need to occupy the strategic choke point.

On the other hand, it cost them nothing to basically destroy the entire area, well, relatively nothing. I mean, it's not hard at all for the Israeli to do what the Allied force did back in Desert Storm.

And as Biden said, US have committed to support of Israel this time, I mean, as I said before, you can either believe this is just a coincident and everybody dropped the ball, or this is a calculated move.

As I said above many pages before: There really is not much of a divide between the West Bank Palestinians and Hamas in Gaza. The use of the term 'Hamas' is the age old Divide and Conquer tactic which occupation entities have used throughout human history.
It will not work because ALL Palestinians know their fate unless they get a viable Palestinian State of their own.
