Gaza-Israel Conflict | October 2023

Although, US and Russian forces did clash in the Battle of Khasham in 2018. The outcome is self-explanatory.
That's not true. US and Russian forces did not clash in the Battle of Khasham. You should stop twisting words to make a false claim. It does not look good especially from somebody that is a mod.

US clashed with Russian mercenary group Wagner. The US consulted the Russian military, which was not aware of any Russian forces participating in any action there, so, have not objected. So, this was not Russian military, with appropriate equipment, Russian air support or so, but simply mercenaries.

Russian troops are Russia’s concern but Russian mercenaries are NOT a concern to Russia.

Wagner is one of the best Russian arms out there. What are you smoking?

Russians were fully aware of what was happening. I can post sources but this is off-topic conversation.

I actually do pity him and many like him. Majority of people are mislead by their leaders and they end up following blindly due to passion and nationalism. This then spirals out of control and creates monsters out or normal people. When a conflict occurs, one should look at who will benefit the most from it. That normally points to why that conflict is occuring.

How so? Did Russia announce its intervention plan for Palestine?

Mention Russia in the context that is relevant to the topic but don't speculate for the sake of it.

WE have seen what Russia can and cannot do.

Russia can fight weak or exposed countries, not capable sides.

Global geopolitics is rapidly evoloving since the Russia-Ukraine war. Bolded part: Why do you have to jump the gun? Why such extreme expectations from Russia? Had you not seen how prominently the NY Times gave space to Russia not even offering condolences to Netanyahu unlike in the past? The Russian blogspace, per NY Times, even was 'gleeful' about the October 7 attack. Have you not seen that Zelensky is directly accusing Russia of backing Hamas? And yet you relegated Russia to only the Syrian conflict in the message I quoted of you above.

Russia still have considerable cyber/hacking and intelligence gathering assets to help via Iran or even directly and Russia is cornered. It will try to take any advantage to drain American support for Ukraine!!

There is no Chinese plane beating F35 or F22. Especially due to sheer numbers. The Chinese planes are also not proven

I wonder what world do you people live in? No wonder why we never win wars. Utter deluded peoppe sitting st the helm

This has been mentioned before and nothing has changed in Ukraine. You can check in Ukraine - Russia War thread. NY Times is a media house and it will report all sort of stories. It is not my domain to control.

WE want updates on situation in Palestine.

As the Ottomans withdrew from the city in 1917, they left behind 53 soldiers to protect the holy sites from looters. They stood guard even as British troops took control of the city. Over time the 53 man rearguard vanished. Some may have returned home, some sources say they remained and died over the years due to natural causes.

Corporal Hasan stayed in Jerusalem and was the last of his regiment. Those who knew him said that he would be the first to arrive and the last to leave Al Aqsa Mosque. He would also patrol the perimeter of the area around the Temple Mount to the Dome of the Rock. He did this everyday until he passed away in 1982.

Jerusalem is a unique city. It is very special to all three major religions. As the Ottoman presence was ending and the British were victorious, sources cite the commander of the British forces disarming and walking into Jerusalem as a civilian instead of a soldier.

Al-Quds has always been a sacred place for the Turks, their admiration and reverence for the city is just as strong today as it was during Ottoman times. I wanted to share this story as some soft background context because you’ll hear Turkish officials refer to Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque from time to time as the Israeli-Palestinian issue has once again dominated the news cycle.

The protection of Jerusalem as sacred ground for all three religions and the preservation of Al Aqsa Mosque are very high priority issues for Türkiye. The photo below is of Corporal Hasan, the last Ottoman guardian of Al-Quds. As a man that dedicated his life to protecting the holy sites of all three religions, may Allah bless his soul.

The reason why I have brought Corporal Hasan's life struggle here is that he is just an ordinary Muslim after 1917, who fought against the British before, or who dedicated his life to protecting the pilgrim caravans and the holy places from the bandits who were one with the British. He is a soldier whose state has been destroyed, and what he does from that point on is only a matter of his conscience. He has no wealth, no state power to stand behind him, only his faith.

May Allah be pleased with all the Muslims who are protecting Quds today and yesterday and who have dedicated their lives for this cause, who have given their lives for this cause. Their sacrifice is a paragon of virtue that perhaps we will never be able to match. Many nameless Muslims were not stronger than you, us, maybe most of them were not as knowledgeable as you. But their faith was strong. As today Palestinian mujahideen are stronger than all of us in one thing.
