I lived in the US and Europe for a number of years. I did watch the quantity of Indians coming in increase and also the quality of "techies" deteriorate. On my very last trip to LA - an Indian tried to rip me off right at the airport! When I didn't fall for it he told me as an Indian I should help him. Volunteered to help him find the closest cop who could escort him to the Indian consulate. He ran away faster than Usain Bolt.

LOL this is amusing and hilarious at the same time your truth and accepting that problems exists is hugely appreciated.

No denying the fact that if you change 'Indian' to a 'Pakistani' it will still be believable...albeit with a lesser percentage due to low diaspora of Pak people in US.

Most Pakistanis I've met in real life have been very warm and hospitable. Except for one nut job random 70 year old uncle who thought I was Pakistani and gave me a long lecture for buying alchohol during Ramzan at a supermarket. But in the last 5-6 years - I've only seen abuse and insults been thrown at each other especially on social media. I guess people merely wish to reinforce nationalist-driven stereotypes. It's a shame really - I am fine with banter during sporting events and even having different narratives - but I've not seen the amount of hate and vitriol that I see nowadays.

You are a bit delusional about the current ground realities...what was right 10 years ago has changed totally, talking about the reality bites. Better to accept the problems and start looking for solutions than denying them that they exists.

Indian IT industry is facing a slump with new cutting edge tech. like cloud computing taking the key role here. In other field as well.

Article makes it sound like it's only Pakistanis who were the targets of these crimes, but the fact of the matter is that Indians are the biggest targets. Nevertheless, I don't see how Indian call centers are going to be impacted here, but this is just wishful thinking on your part.
