Game Over Abenomics: "This Week Japan Will Acknowledge It Is In Recession", Goldman Reveals

Hi Mike-San,

For one I would like to make two points:

1) Japan - China reconciliation is not anti-thetic to United States interests. In fact, it would benefit the United States to see Japan having friendly relation with China as well as South Korea. The simple fact that this would bolster intraregional trade, and reduce the possibility of military flare ups , military clashes. It benefits neither Japan, China or the United States to have a hostile Japan-China Dynamic.

2) China represents Japan's largest market. Our annualized bilateral trade is over $320 Billion. There are even regression analysis prediction that forecast it to reach $330 Billion by the end of this fiscal year. So, i cannot emphasize enough of the importance China has for us. In fact, I would prefer that China and Japan put down harsh rhetoric for one that favors friendly relations and trade. Besides, I am in the position that China will work as a conduit to the emerging markets in Central Asia.

My good friend Nihonji, You seem not to understand U.S foreign policy like i thought. You of all people should know better.
So you think the U.S will welcome a China-Japan reconciliation? of what benefit will it be for the U.S? None.
The U.S needs to divide in other to rule(they copied/learned it from us their former colonial master.:azn::D). Anything that can promote/elevate China's image/relations with its neighbours will never be in U.S interests. The U.S needs to keep China busy in its own neighbourhood, so it will never think of ever Challenging the U.S internationally. If China can be contained/restricted to east Asia, then that will be the best thing that can happen to the U.S. Afterall, why will an established power want an upcoming rival to have good relations with its neighbours and hence consolidate its power in its neighbourhood and move out to compete with the U.S worldwide. China has to be restricted in the first or second islands chain. It shouldn't move further than that, So Japan and Taiwan are very useful in making sure this remains the case. Since they are U.S allies.

So a China- Japan conflict/hostility serves U.S interests perfectly. So the U.S will keep doing what it can to keep it that way, whether we like it or not. That's how geo-politics works, anything goes as far as protecting your interests are concern.:agree:
I dont find anything wrong in what the U.S is doing, thats what any country in U.S position will do.:agree: So it might sound unfair/bad but it isn't really, not in politics anyway.:bounce:

As for China Japan relations, no matter how much you wish they will be good, i dont think they ever will, Japan will never want to acknowledge its war crimes/comfort women issues in Asia, nor will it want to stop visiting its Yashukuni shrines every year, and the Chinese and koreans will keep making use of this for their own political motives/advantage etc etc. its same reason Japan-south korea relations wont ever be good anytime soon.:agree: So relations might improve for a while, only for them to turn back to bad when Japanese politicians/officials visit Yashukuni shrine the next year and the chinese/korean will start whinning again, then we are back to square one. Asia is indeed a funny/interesting place politcally speaking..:-)

Ahh...which tech youre talking about? Aegis? Pac3? Point it out
ask Nihonji he will tell u more.:-)

Seems like a non-ending Ying - Yang relationship, from what I take, Mike-San.
