Maranjab Desert and Salt Lake .

Maranjab is located in northeastern of Aran-Bidgol and Kashan in the central area of Iran. The area is about 50 kilometer far from Aran-Bidgol in rough road next to the “Salt Lake”.

“Salt Lake” is one of the most saline in the world and surrounded by stretches of sand and salt land. The lake has become important as a source of minerals. Great sand dunes and the beautiful landscapes are among the attracting phenomenon of Maranjab Desert.

The virgin nature invites people to a memorable calm and peace.

"The Earth's hot deserts -- such as the Sahara, the Gobi, the Sonoran and the Lut -- are climatically harsh and so remote that access for routine measurements and maintenance of a weather station is impractical," said David Mildrexler, lead author of a recent study that used NASA satellites to detect the Earth's hottest surface temperatures.

The satellites detect the infrared energy emitted by land. And over a seven-year period, from 2003 to 2009, they found Iran's Lut Desert to be the hottest place on Eart''

Think it's hot? Imagine living here - CNN

That is a claim, not an official record. Records have to measured under standard conditions as I mentioned above.

I didn't announce it my friend, If you think it's wrong, you can contact to the NASA and tell them it's a claim and you are wrong.

No need. Records are set under standard conditions. NASA merely announces it readings for surface temperature, and these change, that is all. NASA says this:

The Hottest Spot on Earth : Image of the Day

Where is the hottest place on Earth? Temperature records from weather stations give that distinction to El Azizia, Libya, which hit a sweltering 57.8 degrees Celsius (136 F) on September 13, 1922, but there have likely been hotter locations beyond the scattered network of weather stations. ...................

MODIS records land surface temperatures, which reflect how hot the ground is to the touch. As anyone who has walked barefoot across a sandy beach or a slab of concrete on a summer’s day can attest, the land underfoot is hotter than the air at head level. As a result, the temperatures shown here could be as much as 40 degrees Celsius hotter than the air temperatures recorded at weather stations..................

Where is the hottest place on Earth? According to MODIS, the hottest place in 2004 and 2005 was the Lut desert of Iran, which reached 70.7 degrees C (159 degrees F). In 2003, Queensland, Australia, was the hottest place on Earth, with a temperature of 69.3 degrees C (157 degrees F)..............

Who knows what the latest data show when they are released?
