Tehran Hosts 14th Int’l Flowers and Plants Exhibition

Tehran’s Goftegoo Park is hosting the 14th International Flowers and Plants Exhibition.



Domestic producers and companies abroad have displayed their floral and plant products at exhibition.



The exhibition has been set up in an area of 12 thousand square meters as well as 5 thousand square meters allocated to selling products.



Currently, Tehran province accounts for 50 percent of the country’s flower output.

This is while many regions of the country possess a better status than Tehran because of favorable climatic conditions and lower land price and wages.



Tehran Flora and Plant Fair will run until May 13.



Being a vast land with varied climatic conditions, Iran is one of the largest producers of ornamental flowers in the world.



Iran ranks 17th worldwide in terms of total area under cultivation of ornamental flowers.
