U already got mi-35 from them and although t-129 is a light attack helicopter whats the requirement once u have mi-35 and mi-28n(proposed)??

Mi-28n is in heavy category with 4000 kg ordnance capacity and much more sensors.
Both a-129 and z-10 are light helicopters and less capable too.

Plus mi-28n can be fitted with a millimetre wave radar too which will make its working independent of any escort.

Which one of these four candidates is most probable as replacement of AH-1S?
I hope we choose T-129. Turkey is a reliable partner to Pakistan, and we really need to further strengthen our defence ties with them...

We have a special relationship with Turkey. They don't have a WMD program so what we sell to them is not from the nuclear domain. Mainly we are helping Turkey develop its standoff strike capabilities.

I hope we choose T-129. Turkey is a reliable partner to Pakistan, and we really need to further strengthen our defence ties with them...

T-129 is also the best option, technologically speaking. AH-1Z beats T-129 in some respects but it will also be riddled with strings attached and no transfer of technology. Turkey is willing to provide TOT and to build a heli factory at PAC. The only issue is the LHTEC CTS800-4Aturboshaft engines are made in US, so they can still spoil the deal.

Carries more load (5000 kg+)and the mmv radar is fully functional ,,russian one is prototype just like a proposed chinese one.

Sir from my IR POV relations with other countries can only remain healthy if they always are maintained as a two way stream! If u know what i mean. Our experience with Pak-Af, Pak-Iran, US-Pak, Pak-China and Pak-Ind relations tells us that. And above all our relations with GCC countries experience since our existence tells us that.

Anyways its good if we really are benefiting them as well in a more meaningful way in order to maintain mutual beneficial relationship like we are doing with Russia.
